Happy Easter & Cake Decorating!

I've been wanting to take a cake decorating class for a long time, but all of the classes were always offered during the day--when I am at work. Recently, Stephen and I were in Hobby Lobby and saw a sign for a night class, and I signed up. I'm really enjoying it, and Stephen is enjoying eating the decor. Here are a few pictures of the three cakes that I decorated. On the last one with the roses, I took it to work and one of my co-workers thought it was acceptable to eat all three of the roses off of the cake. I'm beginning to find the humor in it.

The other pictures are from Easter. I almost braved the cool weather and wore my dress anyway, but a trial the night before revealed that a proper wearing of the dress would include a slip that would prohibit light from filtering through. I neglected to take a slip with me to Georgia. So, no, I didn't wear it. Stephen and I enjoyed traveling home for Easter but are always so tired when we get back, especially when I have to bake and frost a cake late Sunday night. It was nice to go into a church where the people know us and are acutely aware of our absence and seek to shower love upon us when we step through the door. Enjoy the pics!

I love the cakes! They are beautiful and they look yummy, too! Have you met Eron Snow yet? I think she works in accounting. If you have, tell her I said Hey! She will know me as Stephanie Howell, probably not Stephanie Wright. We went to U. of South Alabama together. Oh, and I haven't met Hollie- I commented on her blog and asked her a question about cloth diapers and that is why she wrote on my blog. Have a great day!!!

Well I thought the 1st cake was my favorite but then came the 2nd and then as I thought the 2nd was my favorite then came the 3rd. I can't decide....they're all so beautiful. You definitely have a knack for cake decorating! Too bad the calories aren't free for the decorator! We miss you guys! Give Ella a big kiss!

Jenny, your cakes are amazing! And, as one of the privileged coworkers who partook in the heavenly confections, they taste every bit as delicious as they are beautiful! On the last one you brought, I ate three pieces! Two for me, and one for the baby.

Don't be surprised when I call next year for Bradley's first birthday cake! You're the best!
