500,000 Down, ONE to go!!!!

Last week I complete my last fall semester, hurricane and all. I am so glad to be finished with such a crazy time. I've never in my life been more discouraged to do school. But we persevered, and made it. Now, I only have ONE semester left of seminary. Can I get a hallelujah?! In Hebrew, hallelujah means "praise Yahweh." And that's exactly Who has gotten me this far and Who will continue to complete the calling. Praise Yahweh!!!! I will take a workshop in January and then 4 courses in the spring--2 via the North GA extension center and 2 via the Internet (which are incredibly difficult may I add; I don't like to take them that way). Nevertheless, I will be able to graduate in May. So, if anybody knows of a job . . . . ha ha. Stephen and I are looking forward to having a marriage outside of school and to going on a vacation. Well, I have to clean house b/c it's been highly neglected the past month or so.

Two Posts in One Day!!!

Here is a picture I took of the dog that we are dog-sitting. Isn't he just the cutest?! He's a schnoodle--schnauzer (did I spell that right?) and a poodle. His name is Nino.

Ok, We're back

Ok, here's a couple of pictures. Our Christmas tree, of course and a picture of our brand new couch (it also has a matching chair and chair and 1/2). There's a long story behind that couch. Some very generous person donated a pretty nice couch to us after the hurricane. Well, we liked it a lot, but it had been in a house with a cat--maybe 10 cats, who knows. Anyway, if you know Stephen, you know that he has severe cat allergies. Even with medication, too long with a cat, and he is in danger of having an asthma attack. I tried to clean it and de-allergize it, but nothing worked. So, we had to give the couch away. After that incidence, we were wary of taking upholstered furniture from strangers. So, with some insurance money we bought these three pieces. We love it, and it is SO comfortable.

We had fun with a tree this year. We were happy that our Christmas stuff was at Mom's house, so all of it was fine. The tree skirt is new.

Slacker

Ok, I know that I've totally been a slacker about posting to our blog. I've just been overwhelmed with the amount of work that I have had to do this past month or so. And much of it has included sitting at this very computer and "blogging" intensely for 3 classes (the ones I have online). Needless to say, I have not wanted to type much more. But, I am almost finished with my last paper, and I promise to blog tomorrow or Friday. Who knows?! Maybe I'll even put up a picture of our Christmas tree (first big one since marriage) and our new living room furniture (replaced a la Katrina).
